What is Juvéderm® XC?

Juvéderm® XC is made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a naturally occurring substance that helps to hydrate and add volume to your skin. When Dr. Blair precisely injects Juvéderm® XC injected into the facial tissue temporarily plumps up, softens, and smooths moderate-to-severe nasolabial folds or smile lines. Juvéderm® XC can also be used to temporarily add more fullness and plumpness to the lips.

Juvéderm® XC is that it has been proven safe and effective for all skin colors and tones. Studies have shown no increased risk of hyperpigmentation or hypertrophic scarring. Because Juvéderm® XC flows easily into the skin to provide a natural look and feel; a single treatment often offers immediate results on addressing facial lines and wrinkles.

What Results Can You Expect and How Long Do They Last?

A Juvéderm® XC session generally takes about 30 minutes and is performed by Dr. Paul Blair. It is important to note that all dermal filler injections are performed by Dr. Blair, not a nurse or aesthetician. Patients may feel slight pain during and after the injection, but we can numb the treatment area to help minimize discomfort.
Juvéderm® XC results can last up to one year. Touch-up injections, as well as repeat injections, are usually needed to maintain excellent results.
