GlytoneAt AlexAlexa special skin products are provided that are not available except through a physician. Under Dr. Blair’s direction Glytone products are available to our patients. Glytone is made to revitalize your skin and protect it from the effects of aging, the sun and the seasons. The Glytone Skin Rejuvenation System is made up of Glytone facial peels, administered by Dr. Blair, and easy-to-use, at-home kits that contain a cleanser, moisturizer and exfoliator.

The secret to this system is glycolic acid that works by deeply penetrating the skin’s surface and loosening the top layer of dull, damaged skin cells to leave you with smoother, younger-looking skin. Products include fading lotion, calming cream, hydrating cream, nighttime lip treatment, shave cream, sunblock, gentle cleanser, deep cleansing masque, firming eye gel, special products for acne and body creams and washes.

During your personalized consultation Dr. Blair will assess your skin type as well as other considerations such as, age, history of other skin care and your expectations. You will then be scheduled for a facial peel (lasting about 5 minutes) again under the direction of Dr. Blair. He can determine the proper timing between peels and the strengths of the products. Depending on your skin’s reaction, a set flexible schedule will be developed for treatment-gentle, aggressive or any point in-between. You will feel results as soon as one week into the program. The peel program generally consists of a series of peels given every 2 weeks. However, the at home products are still beneficial without the peels.

Dr. Blair and his staff will emphasize the importance of providing complete information about your health practices and any issues that might reduce the effectiveness of the Glytone process.

If you are looking for a more aggressive skin care program we recommend you contact our office today to determine if you are a good candidate for the Glytone peel. Call 304-201 ALEX (2539) today.
