There are so many different skin care lines out there, how do I know which one is best for me?

Because this can be so overwhelming, we always recommend having a consult with one of our aestheticians so they can evaluate your skin & help guide you with the correct skin care products for your skin. No one product will serve you your entire life. Your skins needs can change with pregnancy, age and your health. Whether you need a skin care regimen recommendation or just need to fine tune your current skin care plan we can help.

What is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel is a cosmetic technique that improves the quality and texture of the skin. The application of a chemical solution causes the top layer of skin to peel away, revealing the fresh skin underneath. Fine lines, uneven tone and sun damage can all be lifted away with the top layer of skin.

What is the downtime with a chemical peel?

In most cases, you can return to normal activities immediately after your chemical peel. Chemical peels penetrate at various depths, and after a shallow peel you can expect to experience redness for about an hour after the peel, sometimes followed by several days of slight peeling.

A deeper chemical peel may cause swelling, and you may have blistering and scabbing of the skin for a couple weeks.

Why is mineral makeup, like Jane Iredale so important?

It also provides a broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection up to an SPF of 20. It also provides complete coverage for conditions such as rosacea, acne, redness & postoperative bruising.
